Clever Fox Planner 2.0, A5 Undated Weekly & Monthly Notebook, Mystic Blue

A hardcover paper planner with no printed dates, used for a few minutes early in the day. We read the Amazon listing and the Clever Fox product page to list what is actually inside.

The short version

  • An A5 (5.8 × 8.3 in) undated planner meant to cover 12 months: a few planning spreads up front, then 12 monthly calendars each followed by that month's weekly pages, then 35+ dot-grid pages.
  • $27.49 on Sep 30, 2026 for the Mystic Blue color, sold by a third-party seller named SVDSTORE and shipped by Amazon.
  • Because nothing is dated, you write in the dates yourself; you can start in any month and skip weeks without wasting pages.

How it holds up in use

The structure is chronological. After the planning spreads at the front, each month opens with a colored monthly calendar and then runs straight into that month's weekly spreads, so the week you are working in sits next to the month it belongs to. Each month gets its own color, which makes flipping to the right section quicker. The weekly layout gives a block per day plus a habit tracker and a to-do list, and the monthly pages add space for the month's main goals and a short look back.

The undated format is the main practical point. You fill in the month name and the dates yourself, which takes a couple of minutes per month but means a missed fortnight does not leave blank printed pages behind. If you prefer a planner that simply opens to today, a dated planner will suit you better.

A5 is a compact size. The daily blocks on a weekly spread are fine for three to five short items and an appointment or two; people who schedule by the hour may find them tight (Clever Fox also sells daily planners and a larger 8.5 × 11 in PRO weekly edition). The ribbons let you keep the current week, the current month and the goals page marked at once. The listing's marketing leans heavily on goal achievement and productivity; a planner is a place to write things down, and what happens next depends on the person using it, so we make no promise either way.

Before you buy

Check the size against how you write. A5 is roughly the size of a paperback; if you like to write large or plan hour by hour, look at a larger or daily format instead. The front goal and vision pages are optional; the planner works fine as a plain weekly calendar if you skip them.

How to fit it into your day

A ten-minute sequence for the start of the day. It is one way to use the planner, not a formula.

  1. Set up the month once first of the month

Write the month name and the dates onto the monthly calendar, copy in fixed appointments and birthdays from the important-dates page, and note one or two things you want to get done this month.

  2. Open to this week around 07:00

With the ribbon on the current week, glance at today's block and yesterday's leftovers before opening your phone.

  3. Pick three tasks

Write no more than three tasks for today in the daily block, plus any fixed appointments. Move anything unrealistic to another day instead of crossing it out later.

  4. Tick the habit row around 07:25

Use the habit tracker for one or two simple routines you already want to keep, such as a morning walk or a glass of water with breakfast. Tick yesterday's box honestly and close the book.

  5. Look back once a week

On a day that suits you, fill the weekly reflection box in two or three lines and carry unfinished items forward. Our tool entry on The Five Minute Journal covers a different, prompt-based paper format if you want a shorter daily page.

Price and where it is sold

On Sep 30, 2026, the Amazon listing for the Clever Fox Planner 2.0, A5, Mystic Blue showed $27.49, in stock, sold by a third-party seller named SVDSTORE and shipped from Amazon. The return option shown was a free 30-day refund or replacement, and the listing separately describes a 60-day money-back guarantee from the brand. The listing is here: amazon.com/dp/B08D6R6F6R. Clever Fox's own site listed its A5 weekly planner at the same $27.49 that day. Other colors are separate listings and may be priced differently.

Who should look elsewhere

  • People who plan hour by hour: a daily planner or a larger weekly format gives more room per day.
  • People who want dates already printed, or who plan mostly on a phone calendar shared with others.
  • Anyone expecting a notebook to fix a heavy workload: if stress, focus or overload is a persistent problem, talking to a clinician or a manager is the more useful step.
